Anushka & Shubham: Hi! We spent three years trying to get a theatre degree and then we happened to find ourselves here

Sameer: Engineering student, sorry I mean engineering dropout… you know… because my love for theatre led me here instead.  I also love Film-

Shubham: SHHHH! Don’t say the ‘F – word’ here!

Nishika: Don’t worry, you don’t need to filter what you say here. Everyone is accepted here. Take me for instance, film lover, no degree or anything, how can I even apply for one since my board results aren’t coming out –  Anyway, we’re sidetracking, let’s get to the point.

All: AAAAAAAND we’re back! For another year full of Thespo with a new team of fellows!

Theatre Bugs with Algorithms cast and crew

What’s better than going to watch a play? Going to watch a play together, especially when the tickets are subsidised and there are post-show conversations with the cast and crew! Which is what Theatre Bugs is all about, and the best part is it happens throughout the year. To be more specific we’ve had 8 Theatre Bugs since February. We have 1 upcoming Theatre Bugs this very month itself! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get updates and join us for the next one!

Pull out your calendars and save the date. July 1st we’ll be meeting you at Prithvi. With performances, talks and everything Thespo. Be There.

Let’s get a little geeky, shall we?

Since 1962, World Theatre Day has been celebrated by ITI Centres, ITI Cooperating Members, theatre professionals, theatre organizations, theatre universities and theatre lovers all over the world on the 27th of March. This day is a celebration for those who can see the value and importance of the art form “theatre”, and acts as a wake-up-call for governments, politicians and institutions which have not yet recognised its value to the people and to the individuals who have not yet realised its potential for economic growth.

Of course, we are celebrating World Theatre Day! So all you need to do is join us and celebrate this community that is theatre!

Thespo is here and is looking for you!

If you’re under 25, and you’re looking for a cool place to work, look no more, we have a job for you!
